Extreme Fitness complaint

I feel I was mislead by this club. I went to the club based their ad for $8 a month memberships and NO CONTRACTS.

After being pressured into signing up for a membership I find out later that it is for 1 YEAR and is only $8 for 2 months and then $70 after that.

They ignored my letters to cancel the membership and I am now in the process of making official complaints to the Gov't and bbb. I might have to sue them in court to have the contract cancelled. I am disabled and cannot afford this membership but they do not seem to care.

I am looking for anyone that has had problems with Extreme Fitness so I can include this with my documentation and also help ensure that no other people are not mislead like I was.

I feel the same way. Misslead.

I signed personal trainer contract with them and told them I need only a few sessions that I don't have too much time and too much money to spent. I just found out that I have 30 sessions. 30! I will never use that amount in a year! I don't have for this or the money.

The sales guy was laughing in my face when I was telling him that this is not what I wanted. He told me I should not sign the contract. I would not have if he would explain to me what the whole contract meant and that is was far from what I wanted.

Very upset, misslead and pissed off.
